First Unofficial Meeting of the Semester

First Unofficial Meeting of the Semester

Originally posted by Aubrey B. Weibel

After a long break away, like this year's one month winter break, brothers are always excited to come back to school and get together to catch on the adventures of the break and the goals for the upcoming semester. On January 30, 2013 the Cook AZ brothers met up in the Cook Campus Center, our unofficial home, drank some root beer floats, enjoyed some '50s music and discussed the excited upcoming events the semester. Spring 2013 is going to be a wonderful semester, if the big little tackle hug in the picture below states anything.

Brothers stood at the boards in between classes so that if a student had questions about Alpha Zeta they could answer them. Two to six brothers stood by the boards for each ninety-minute shift from 9:30am to 3pm.

It’s the first week of the semester and the second week of rush and everyone at the Cornell Chapter knows what that means…BROOMBALL! Over the years, broomball, which for those of you who don’t know is sort of like hockey without skates, has become a tradition for the house and a way to recruit new members. Who doesn’t enjoy sliding around on ice, in the middle of winter, especially in upstate NY!
