This school year started out jammed packed for the Cornell Chapter! For the first two weeks of the semester our chapter held recruitment. Each day an event was held which brought in potential new members.

The Annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser is always a cheerful time for the North Carolina Chapter! We went to various faculty members and students at NC State as well as sold items to friends and family back home. All of the trees and wreaths were grown in Western North Carolina!

On the weekend of November 16-18th, the North Carolina Chapter traveled to the mountains to learn about Western North Carolina Agriculture! Over the course of the weekend, Brothers toured a total of 6 farms: Brother Starnes, Chancellor Wilson, and Chronicler Worleyʼs family farms, Warren Wilson College farm, the North Carolina Mountain Research Station, and Snow Creek Christmas Trees Farm.

On October 20th, 2018, brothers of the North Carolina Chapter traveled to Person County, NC to take a tour of the Hill of Berries Farm. Brother Bryce Berryhill and Brother Eugene “Cal” Berryhill are both alumni of the North Carolina Chapter of Alpha Zeta and allowed us to come to their farm to see the inner workings of a tobacco harvest and much more.
