A professional development workshop was held with the purpose of covering the topics of the graduate schools and in the labor field.

The North Carolina Chapter of Alpha Zeta hosted Ag Awareness Week in the heart of NC State's campus to promote agriculture and education about the industry to the public. 

"I've always advocated for ways to promote agriculture in a professional and positive light, and I appreciated that Alpha Zeta offered an outlet to network with other like-minded agricultural scholars. I thoroughly enjoyed engaging with the members of the club; there is definitely a welcoming culture in Alpha Zeta that compliments its strong morals very well." 

We had a chance to chat with Cal Epsilon alumna, Ariel Diggan! Ariel graduated from Fresno State in 2014 with a Bachelors in Animal Science, emphasis in Equine Science. She now oversees Fresno State's Quarter Horse Unit and Student Horse Centers! Ariel plans to return to Fresno State in the fall to teach basic-level equine courses as a student instructor while she works towards her Master's in Animal Science, focusing on poultry nutrition. We had the opportunity to speak with Cal Epsilon Alumnus and U.S. Army Veteran, Walter Bentley, who graduated from Fresno State in 1969 with a Bachelors in Plant Science and a minor in Biology. Since then, Bentley has made an impact in the field of Entomology and agriculture through the UC Cooperative Extension and more, including volunteering in the Philippines, Kosovo, and Guatemala. We traveled to several North Carolina agricultural operations to meet the farmers and see their farms. Brothers were able to fellowship with brothers as well as members of the Animal Science Club.

Seventeen members from The Townshend Chapter traveled to D.C. for a portion of their spring break.

Initiation brought happy, reflectful tears as bigs, soon-to-be-graduating seniors, and the remaining family welcomed three new members to Alpha Zeta Cornell this past weekend.  We are thrilled to have these exceptional young women and we are hopeful that they will bring another level of scholarship, character, leadership, and fellowship into our home.  Congratulations to our newest sisters!
