"Alpha Zeta is the professional agricultural and natural resources organization dedicated to the highest levels of scholarship, leadership, integrity and SERVICE.” The Alpha Zeta Canned Food Drive was a major success this year, thanks to Michael Paulsmeyer and the service committee. During College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) Week, the Wilson Chapter held a competition amongst the clubs. Collection boxes were placed in each of the clubs' main offices for non-perishable food items, and monetary donations were accepted.

Road Clean Up

On Saturday, we performed our first road clean up on our Alpha Zeta Road! We all had a lot of fun seeing who all could find the most unique piece of trash. It was an absolutely beautiful day for a road clean up. Everyone went into pairs: one person picking up trash and one person holding the garbage bag. We ended up collecting 4 bags of trash. We have one road clean up down and two more to go! Can't wait!

Alumni Reunion Picnic

Originally posted by Rheanna I. Foley

On August 10th the alumni of the Cornell Chapter held their annual reunion picnic. This year it was held at Jim and Lois Carter’s cottage on the banks of Seneca Lake. Three active members of our chapter, Rheanna Foley, Rain Hennessey, and Nick Culver, went to the picnic to help set up and keep everything running smoothly. It was a great opportunity for us to improve relations with our alumni. It was also a great opportunity for the alumni to gather and maintain their connection with AZ.
