Administrator for the Defense Health Information Management System, has
been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication,
leadership and excellence in information management and technology.
Just a year after her commencement from the University of Arizona in
1981, Lise A. Sieber enlisted in the United States Navy. She currently
serves as a lieutenant colonel in the Army reserves and is proud to have
recently celebrated her third year with the Defense Health Information
Management System (DHIMS). One of the world's largest and most
sophisticated Electronic Health Record (EHR) management systems, DHIMS
provides the highest quality information management and IT solutions to
handle healthcare data for the military. In her role as a SharePoint
administrator, Ms. Sieber is primarily responsible for handling
information for projects and ensures data is posted to the right system.
In addition to her work with the military, both as a serving officer
and civilian, Ms. Sieber helms her own business, Archivit, Inc., a
digital archiving company with a focus on photographs. As the company's
owner, she works with a diverse variety of clientele to digitize photos
from negatives and slides and preserve images from deterioration, wear
or complete loss. Ms. Sieber looks forward to expanding on the services
offered by Archivit in the coming years as well as focusing her efforts
on SharePoint consulting.
Ms. Sieber is currently pursuing a master of agriculture at Texas
A&M University as well as a certification in geographic information
systems. She holds a bachelor's degree in animal science, earned in
1997, and a bachelor of business administration in accounting and
management information systems, earned in 1981. Ms. Sieber is
professionally affiliated with the Divers Alert Network, the United
States Naval Institute, the Institute of Nautical Archaeology, Phi Kappa
Phi, Gamma Sigma Delta, the Pinnacle Honor Society, Alpha Zeta
Fraternity, the Project Management Institute, Inc. and the Golden Key
International Honour Society.
