Tony Meyer (Wisc. Gamma) has been named to the Vita Plus Marketing Services
Internship based in Madison. Meyer will be a senior at the University of
Wisconsin-River Falls, majoring in agricultural marketing
communications. During his summer internship, Meyer will create a number
of different communication pieces and marketing materials.
Meyer
grew up near Unity on his family's registered Holstein dairy operation.
He was an active member of Maplewood Badgers 4-H and Colby FFA. He
received his American FFA degree in 2010. At the University of
Wisconsin-River Falls, Meyer is active in the Agricultural Business
and Marketing Society, Agricultural Education Society and Alpha Zeta
Fraternity, serving as an officer of all three organizations. He also
works at Mills Fleet Farm while attending school and was an agricultural
department intern with the Wisconsin State Fair last year.
Through
his summer internship, Meyer will take on several projects within
marketing services. He will assist with event planning, written
communications, marketing pieces, technical bulletins and blog posts. He
will support multimedia efforts with photo and video projects in the
field. In addition, he will write several stories for the bimonthly calf
care e-newsletter and assist with the communications and promotions for
Vita Plus Calf Summit 2012.
