Brothers from the North Carolina Chapter toured the Duplin Winery and Vineyard in Rose Hill, NC, on September 11.
During their tour, brothers observed the harvesting of grapes and rode on a mechanized grape picker. They also learned about the wine-making process and the attributes of a quality wine.
The winery, North Carolina’s largest and the 36th largest in the nation, sells about 560,000 cases of wine per year. The tour was conducted by Jonathan Fussell, co-owner of the winery.
