On October 27, 2018, brothers of the North Carolina Chapter of Alpha Zeta worked at the JC Raulston Arboretum. The Arboretum is a garden on NC State’s campus that aims to introduce, display, and promote plants that diversify the American landscape, which benefits communities economically, environmentally, and aesthetically. The Arboretum also provides educational experiences to both students and the general public by focusing on plants that are native to the Southeast part of the country. Brothers of the North Carolina Chapter worked hard to keep up the beautiful landscapes of the Arboretum by weeding, mulching, and planting within the garden. This was a great opportunity to get our hands dirty while benefiting students of NC State and people of the public!
