On February 19th, 49 brothers, 25 alumni, and 21 pledges made their way out to what is one of the most important nights of every semester, New Member Ritual Night. This was held at the Meadows and is a joyous occasion in which brothers get to meet up with alumni who graduated from as little as the semester before to much much longer ago. While the brothers and alumni mingle, the prospective pledges meet each class in turn and soon learn some of the traditions from the Cook Chapter. This night is extremely exciting as bigs and littles meet for the first time as family. Once all the meetings take place, George Clark says a few words followed by the any alumni who wish to speak about how Alpha Zeta and the Cook Chapter have changed their lives. Their stories are a testament to how much Alpha Zeta matters from individuals to a group and shows the pledges that by pledging they are not just pledging a co-ed fraternity but are joining a family. Unfortunately Doc Hamilton was not present to say a few words himself.
