On September 19, 3 students, 1 alumni and 2 others participated in a march that was a protest against the new pipeline to be established from the south side of Puerto Rico all the way to the north side of the island, completing a total of 92 miles in length. The march was to the benefit of many citizens and owners of agricultural lands. If this project is established, they would lose their lands to the government. This was to the benefit of the chapter because as future agronomists, we should be interested in anything that may concern the development of agriculture. As for planning, we used our own transportation and went to Adjuntes from 8:00am until 1:00pm.
