On Friday, April 6, Brothers of Alpha Zeta coordinated with a local alumnus to bring goats, chicks, pigs, and a miniature horse to Bright Horizons PreSchool in Raleigh Corporate Center! Children were able to pet the livestock and ask questions about their importance. This was an opportunity for brothers to express one of the major passions of our chapter in educating our community about the industry that we hold so dear. It is always a fulfilling experience to spread agriculture awareness to our surrounding community and to see a child's joy when they are able to pet a new animal. The children were so excited to have the opportunity to look and touch animals that some of them had never seen before.
Special thanks to Danielle Smith Jones for making this possible!
