Members of AZ Cornell started off Sunday morning with a 5k race. The Halloween themed race was organized by actives Katherine Walden and Ryan Devlin. Their hard work, along with the help of other members, made the race a success. All members of the community and university were invited to participate. The weather was perfect for racing and the participants were very enthusiastic! The race was held in the University’s arboretum, which is beautiful this time of year since the leaves are all changing color. All profits raised were donated to Rochester Roots, a nonprofit organization that supports garden based education in urban and community areas within the city of Rochester. The director of the organization was able to make it down and watch the race.
