Following a new member education week including three virtual rush events and interviews, the North Carolina Chapter welcomed seven new brothers into the Fraternity of Alpha Zeta in September.

One of the new brothers’ first chapter events was a retreat at North Carolina’s Eastern 4-H Center.  During the retreat, the new members worked with their new brethren to complete a service project in nearby Columbia, NC.

In preparation for Columbia’s Scuppernong River Festival, brothers helped to beautify downtown by sweeping sidewalks and weeding, mulching, and edging flowerbeds.  They also visited with town leaders after they finished their work.

Chapter censor Maggie Thomas organized the new member education week and retreat.  Chapter chancellor Kristina Phelps arranged for the Columbia service project.

The new brothers of the North Carolina Chapter are Sarah Grace Chapman, Meredith Bellina, Aaron Howard, Andy Paris, Lillie Riddle, Mason Willard, and Colden Bradshaw.
