On Saturday, March 24, Alpha Zeta made a visit to “Finca Tres Amigos” in Las Marías, Puerto Rico with the desire to participate and work in the agricultural project called “Plenitud Iniciativas Eco-Educativas”. This project is focused on permaculture practices, where Alpha Zeta helped the people who work in that farm with the preparation and planting of the land for future production. Like sowing pacholí in areas that are prone to erosion due to rain and learning about organic agriculture and sustainable practices. Since this farm has mainly educational purposes, this experience was enriching for the Alpha Zeta brothers who attended the activity and for a group of students of Florida who were also there. Alpha Zeta took advantage of this experience while at the same time it was a way to release some of the University stress!
