Dudley Farm Living History Presentation

Staff from the Dudley Farm Living History Museum visited our chapter today, March 14. Brothers in Alpha Zeta are interested in agricultural techniques used to manage the farm, since the tools or agricultural methods are true to the time period from 1880-1930. These simple and effective methods of farming and cooking are very different from modern practices and in many ways these old art forms are dying. The staff at Dudley Farm firmly believe in preserving this history by teaching contemporary people historic techniques. The staff deeply care about family, history, and knowing where you come from. They work each day to keep these traditions alive so today we can be aware of how our ancestors survived and how we got to where we are today. After meeting with some of the staff at the Dudley Farm, AZ brothers look forward to contributing our services to help keep Florida's rich agricultural history alive.
