AZ Foundation Past President, Larry Groce, Named Global Industries VP

Global Industries, Inc. is pleased to announce that Larry L. Groce has been appointed Vice President, Business Development and Strategic Accounts.

According to Doug Fargo, President and CFO for Global Industries, "We are pleased that Larry has accepted this position, and look forward to having him on our sales and marketing team. Larry brings more than thirty years of experience in sales, marketing and business development, in both the domestic and international markets.

"In the past two years, Global Industries has made numerous investments to improve both manufacturing capacity and the quality of our product lines. We look forward to Larry helping us share our story, and broaden our customer base."

Groce is a Past Board Chairman of the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) and the Alpha Zeta Foundation. He is an Honorary Life Member of the Farm Foundation - Round Table, served as Director of the International Food and Agribusiness Management Association (IFAMA), and as a Board Trustee and Executive Director of The Grains Foundation.

He is also a member of the Grain Equipment and Processors Society (GEAPS), the National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA), and the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA).

Likewise, Groce is a graduate of Southern Illinois University (SIU) with a B.S. degree in Agronomy and has completed Agribusiness executive education programs at Harvard Business School.
