On November 16th, 2013 the Cal Epsilon Chapter hosted the annual Alpha Zeta Development Summit. The Cal Epsilon chapter openly invited all students within the Fresno State Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology college and our neighboring California Alpha Zeta Chapters to attend this free professional development event. The professional development event encompassed a day filled with guest speakers, networking, agriculture industry discussions, and an etiquette luncheon. All twenty-eight students in attendance not only learned the right steps
to landing their dream career, but were also able to gain insight and
advice on how to become successful from today's industry leaders. Ryan
Jacobsen from the Fresno County Farm Bureau, Beth Bridges from the
Clovis Chamber of Commerce, Michelle Ganci, an esteemed Fresno State animal science
professor and Dr. Sandra Witte, Dean of Graduate Studies all dedicated
their time to assisting those who went to the summit. The Cal Epsilon chapter looks forward to putting on this event for many more years to come! Way to go Cal Epsilon!
