On Thursday June 21st, some brothers of the North Carolina Chapter were a part of the Livestock Science Camp at NC State University. The Livestock Science Camp was an opportunity for high school students to come to our wonderful campus and learn about different aspects of animal agriculture. Along with other clubs at NC State, Alpha Zeta had the opportunity to share with the students what our brotherhood’s goals are and activities we are involved in.
Later that evening, the Ag Olympics began in a nearby barn. Alpha Zeta hosted an egg toss, with the winners distance the furthest that has been seen before! The events in the Ag Olympics and other activities the students participated in throughout the week increased their enthusiasm for livestock management and much more. Our brotherhood is very happy we were able to participate and thank the Animal Science Department for allowing us to share our love for agriculture!
