The biannual Cornell tradition of Greeks Give Back was held on Saturday April 15th 2017. The event is a daylong event where members of the Greek community give back to the Ithaca community through community service events. Nearly a dozen of our chapter’s members participated in Greeks Give Back and worked at various tasks alongside brothers of other fraternities.
Several of our members volunteered at the Tompkins County Library organizing books and helping sort Legos. Other members volunteered at the local YMCA, while still others walked the streets of Ithaca handing out posters and hanging them on doors to spread awareness of local problems including the dangers of lead paint. Overall it was an effective and fun way to give back to the community!
