After spending our Saturday learning about the
Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, the North Carolina Chapter of Alpha
Zeta on Sunday travelled to the Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge to
participate in a service project picking up trash along the road and on the
beach. This was a nice change of scenery from our usual location for
Adopt-A-Highway back in Raleigh. It was enjoyable to be able to see and listen
to the ocean while we cleaned up the surrounding habitat and community. This
trip was a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with our fellow brothers
and to be able to make a difference by cleaning up the habitat and community.
