Every year the North Carolina chapter of Alpha Zeta participates in the Wake County Holiday Cheer Program and sponsors a family in need for Christmas. This year the family we sponsored was a two parent family with four children ranging from a newborn to a seven year old child. The Brothers signed up to buy various gifts for each of the children and an estimated $100 was spent on each child. The gifts bought included winter coats, winter hats, gloves, socks, scarves, new clothes, hair accessories, Iron Man/Spiderman toys, toy cars, baby dolls, puzzles, stuffed animals, toy cars, a football, a jump rope, and teething toys.

We "wrapped" up our annual Christmas tree fundraising event by wrapping these gifts for the family. We also donated a Christmas tree to them so they would be able to place the many gifts for their children underneath. It is always such a joy to help a family in need and we hope that Clifton, Leeona, Leaudra, and their newborn boy had a memorable Christmas morning.
