Ag Day Fall 2015

This fall, the Cornell chapter of Alpha Zeta continued our tradition of Ag Day; a day to teach the rest of the University about agriculture. We brought several animals, including a fistulated cow, chickens, sheep, and a horse, as well as tractors and farming implements. We served food and talked to people passing through the quad about the animals, machinery, and Alpha Zeta. We hosted clubs that are involved in agriculture and the life sciences to help us promote the profession of agriculture. At the end of the day, we held a grilling competition, which was judged by Jeffrey Perry, Richard Church, and last semesters winning team. The day was a great success, and we can't wait for our next Ag Day! We would like to thank Nicholas Culver ‘16 for organizing the whole event.
