Last week, we at the Florida Chapter woke up bright and early to visit SeaWorld in Orlando. We were granted early-hours access to the park, and given a behind-the-scenes tour of their dolphin training facility, manatee and sea turtle rehabilitation centers, and veterinary lab. We were even lucky enough to see a one month old manatee being examined for overall health after being treated for a buoyancy problem which prevented him from submerging. After the tour we had free rein over the park, and we spent the day riding massive roller coasters and attending some spectacular shows. After ten hours in the park we were ready to head back to Gainesville, but after all we learned and all the fun we had, I'm sure it won't be the last time we visit.
