The Scuba Dog Society as well as the community and the Alpha Zeta Puerto Rico chapter volunteered on September 17, 2011 for the cleaning of the coasts of Puerto Rico, specifically "El Alambique”. This international event has created consciousness and encouraged a numerous amount of countries all over the world to conserve all of our natural resources. Last year, a total of 616,000 volunteers picked 8.7 million pounds of garbage. In the "El Alambique” coast alone, we picked about 25 pounds of garbage.
