The Florida Chapter of Alpha Zeta cleaned up our adopted road with the help of our new pledges. The members and pledges that participated in the clean-up did not mind taking time out of their schedule to put the trash back where it belongs and off the street and were definitely surprised at what we find down the road! The road clean-up was planned for an evening to avoid the heat of the day. The road clean-up just missed the cold front that came later in the week and we collected a bunch of trash cleaning up the community. The members met up on campus to carpool over to the road. Planning involves pickin up the supplies ahead of time and bringing it to our AZ road. The road clean-up is always a good excuse to get outside, enjoy the beautiful weather, and help the community.
