Kevin Watts of McGehee Producers Gin in McGehee, AR, was honored as Ginner of the Year at the annual honors banquet of the Southern Cotton Ginners Association, feld during the Mid-South Farm and Gin Show. Watts was cited for his outstanding gin management program, including safety, and for his contributions to the association and the cotton industry.
Kevin Watts started working with his father in a cotton gin in the tenth
grade. By the time he graduated from high school he knew what he wanted
to do with the rest of his life. Watts has spent most of his career as
ginner and now manager of McGehee, Ark.’s Producers Cotton Gin.
