Alpha Zeta's management company, DrakeCo, also manages several other associations and non-profits including the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation. Recently, the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation and its signature program, Trees for Troops, entered the
Chase Community Giving contest running on Facebook for a chance to win $20,000-$250,000.
Anyone can go on Facebook, search for the
Chase Community Giving application and vote for a charity.
Trees for Troops makes the holidays a little brighter for military
personnel and their families by giving them full-sized farm-grown
Christmas trees. Many of these families are spending the holidays far
from family members.
The gift of a tree serves to show these families that they are not alone
and that America appreciates their service and sacrifice.
Over 5 years, Trees for Troops has given away 66,000 Christmas trees. With your help,
they can do even more this holiday season!
