Congratulations!
Megan Lynch (Montana, '08)Megan is a senior at Montana State University majoring in Animal Science-science option.
Megan was born and raised in Kalispell, Montana. Growing up she was active with school, local and state 4H, and FFA. In 2008 she graduated from Flathead High School and moved to Bozeman, MT to continue her education.
While at Montana State University, Megan has been working towards fulfilling the requirements to apply for veterinary school and graduate with an animal science degree. She has also been active in several of the campus clubs and gained experience by working at a local veterinary clinic.
After graduating from MSU in May 2012 Megan plans to attend veterinary school and eventually return to practice mixed animal veterinary medicine in rural Montana.
Rob Newton (Montana, '09)This
fall Rob will begin his senior year studying Agriculture Education. He
plans on student teaching in the spring semester and upon graduation,
hopes to find a teaching job close to home.
During his spare time, Rob
runs a small farm where he raises 125 acres of irrigated wheat and
alfalfa hay. He has been involved in Alpha Zeta, CFFA, and Agriculture
Ambassadors during his college career. Rob says these organizations have
helped him network and grow while attending college.
He is incredibly
grateful for the Alpha Zeta Scholarship and knows it will aid him in
achieving his academic goals.
