Fourteen brothers of the Florida Chapter had a fun and productive day cleaning up McCarty Woods on October 17.
The woods, a green space on the University of Florida campus, is a teaching forest. Once destined for destruction and redevelopment, McCarty Woods was saved from the bulldozer through student activism that included several Alpha Zeta members.
Now, the brothers of the Florida Chapter do their part to keep McCarty Woods clean so that others can fully appreciate this special natural area in the heart of the University of Florida campus.
