On Wednesday April 24th, brothers participated in the Annual Governor Morehead School Spring Festival. The Governor Morehead School is North Carolina’s State School for the blind and opened in 1845. This school on Hillsborough Street, Raleigh offers complete educational and residential programs for visually impaired students from North Carolina, preschool through age 21.

Along with other student run agriculture organizations at N.C. State University, the brothers helped engage students with varying ability in activities. We set up a game of watermelon bowling for the kids, who seemed to enjoy being able to bond with others and receive a piece of candy at the end of their turn. A big thank you to Brother Phelps and Censor McInnerney for making it possible for the brothers to take part in this act of service!
