On March, 22nd, 2019, the brothers of the North Carolina Chapter once again cleaned up their portion of road in Apex, NC for an Adopt-A-Highway service project. The North Carolina Department of Transportation began this program in 1988 in response to the growing concern of litter on the side of North Carolina highways. Litter has very negative effects on the environment including water contamination, fire hazards, harm to wildlife, and many more. We love participating in this program both as a service and a social activity. Cleaning up this highway was a great way to bond as a brotherhood and do our part for the environment and the community. Don’t litter, and help us keep NC clean!
