Over the course of six weeks, Townshend’s Class 20 experienced memories that will last a lifetime and knowledge helpful to expanding cultural knowledge. Within this time members took classes in the city of Piracicaba, Brazil on various agriculture areas, the history of Brazil, and economic principles. They also engaged in agriculture visits to grain production facilities, livestock farms, and corporations. To top off the trip, there is a two-week bus journey for members to view the sites of different regions in Brazil and observe differences similar to traveling across the United States in terms of unique agricultural production. Overall, Class 20 came back to Columbus tired and ready to use their newfound knowledge to develop agriculture and Alpha Zeta Partners alike!
