From inventions/innovations to conversations and beyond, a few of our brothers *and AZ initiates* represented the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology along with Alpha Zeta while they visited the international convention. Here are a few of their moments at #WAE18!
Cal Epsilon Chancellor, Jonathon Porter, participated at the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology's booth. He did recruiting and public relations work that provided students and parents with information about agricultural opportunities offered at Fresno State.
Member, Mikayla Kopp and Cal Epsilon Censor, Amber Westfall participated as spectators and visited booths. Throughout their day(s), they spoke with industry professionals in the Central Valley, the greater United States and even the world! They also visited Jonathon at the JCAST booth.
Member Shannon Bishel said she saw a lot of new technologies that are used in agriculture. She thought the new automated spray machine (GUSS) was neat. (To learn more about GUSS, visit http://gussag.com/about/guss-story/.) She hung out with her employers at Cal-West Rain and got to see unique pieces of art as well!
Alpha Zeta initiate, Victoria Tolin, said "It was a new experience for me, even though I've been going for years, because I was there as a future employee. I also was applying a lot of the knowledge I have gained in the past year and having professional conversations these vendors. We actually ended up talking with a nursery that donated citrus trees to Fresno State.”

We're so proud of our members *and initiates* who continue to promote agriculture and engage with agricultural leaders across the globe.
