The Florida Chapter was busy during the fall semester with service events all around our campus and community! Throughout the semester we baked goodies for the local Ronald McDonald house more than once a month, cleared our adopted street each month and volunteered at the Humane Society on multiple occasions. In addition, a large group of brothers traveled to a nearby elephant sanctuary to help clear the area for a new enclosure for a new rescued animal coming to the sanctuary. While volunteering for the family-owned rescue, we were given the opportunity to interact with a few of the resident elephants. Not only did The Florida Chapter carry out service all throughout our community, but we also became involved on our campus through a food drive, donating blood and by pairing up with the TailGator Green Team on football gamedays. Through the Green Team, brothers helped collect recyclable items and encourage keeping our campus and community beautiful.

The Fall semester of 2015 was full of exciting events that allowed our chapter to enjoy brotherhood while helping others. We are very excited for the upcoming semester which will include our annual Key West Spring Break Service Trip, our NALC service day, and so much more!
