On October 22, the Seismic Network of the Department of Geology at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus held an event in the week of "Earth Science" to provide information to high school students about the geology field and other areas related to it. The activity benefited students who may have an interest in the field. The chapter benefits of this because we provided help to the college. The chapter participates to cooperate and to let students who may want to work with the environment or an area related to it to know us. To participate, member of Alpha Zeta Jacqueline Armstrong, registered and took an orientation prior the event. The member worked as an usher from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.
