On September 27, 2013 members of the Alpha Zeta - Cal Epsilon Chapter assisted in representing not only Fresno State Agriculture yet the agriculture industry as a whole at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Valley Farm Exhibit located at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo.  The exhibit formerly existed as a small wonders petting zoo yet was soon transformed into a "Valley Farm" exhibit encompassing farm animals, row crops, fruit trees, and informational stations about California's number one agricultural industry.  Valley Farm began as a small idea and quickly evolved through the hard work and determination of various industry leaders.  Those in contribution towards the completion of the Valley Farm Exhibit include: The Fresno County Farm Bureau, The Gar Tootelian Foundation, Fresno State Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Fresno State Ag. One Foundation, and the Fresno State Plant Science Department.  Valley Farm stands to bridge the disconnect between producers and consumers through agricultural literacy means.  Great job Alpha Zeta - Cal Epsilon in your support and assistance towards building a wonderful valley agricultural education exhibit.  What a way to advocate for agriculture!
