On December 2nd and 3rd, the brotherhood gathered at Weaver Hall to set up for our Christmas Tree sale. The selling began in September to many family members and professors on campus. On December 2nd a dozen brothers showed up at Weaver to receive the trees from a Christmas Tree farmer that was kind enough to drive from Avery County, NC to deliver us the trees. We separated all of the trees, wreaths, garland and tips into respective sections around the shop so that it would be very organized for the next day. On Saturday, a dozen or so brothers showed up to help hand out what people had ordered and helped them get it into their vehicles. A few brothers also volunteered to deliver trees to people who could not get to the shop to pick them up themselves. It was a fun morning and a great fundraiser for the brotherhood. Most of the money we made from the trees will be going to our Old Alpha Zeta Key that is being placed in monument style at one of the educational units on campus in April.
