The Cornell AZ Chapter went right to work the day after initiating the Fall ’18 class!  Nine members total took advantage of good weather and team spirit to help our greater community.  We were able to collect an astounding seven full bags of trash along our adopted one-mile stretch along Rt 96 in Trumansburg, NY, about 20-30 minutes from our house.  To celebrate a stinky finish to our day, we stopped at the local convenience store and bought a dozen Klondike bars!

Back home at the ranch at 214 Thurston Ave, our very own Philanthropy Chair and senior Alanna Staffin organized another group of actives to write letter after letter to Veterans thanking them for their service and protecting our country.  Quite the stack had accumulated after only a few hours of members teaming up and bonding over these letters.  One of our members was surprised to hear from one of her letter recipients from last year!

AZ had a very productive team-building day bonding over 75 combined volunteering hours!
