  After Tuesday's pledge meeting and Chapter, a group of pledges and current brothers headed out to Tijuana Flats for Taco Tuesday to enjoy a fun family dinner! Pledges got to bond over this social while eating some delicious tacos. Brothers got to socialize with pledges and talk about the upcoming Big/Little reveal. The pledges brainstormed ideas for socials, such as going out shopping for their costume for Big/Little. It was a delicious time!

  Before every pledge meeting, I like to plan a fun, but quick ice breaker. One ice breaker we did was the post-it note game. Each pledge received a post-it note and had to write the name of a famous celebrity, or fictional character and stick it to someone else's forehead.        New Member Education Week is held every semester after candidates are chosen.  The week began on the Sunday after our Retreat.   On Sunday, the candidates worked together to paint the Free Expression Tunnel on campus.  They were responsible for painting all of the names of each current AZ Brother, and Brothers painted the names of all of the candidates.  Afterwards, candidates receive binders with information of all active Brothers and learn that they must answer different questions ...

For the past few years the Townshend Chapter of Alpha Zeta has held a 5k in memory of two of our alumni. The profits from the 5k go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help support disease research. Cornell New Member Orientation: campfire night

The beginning of our new member orientation programs always begins with an overnight bonding trip for the new members to all meet one another and everyone in our chapter. This year, the event was held at our house with a small campfire in our front yard. Active members shared important traditions and stories of our chapter to the new members as we all enjoyed the warmth of the fire. Later on, our new members participated in fun team bonding games.

Back when the weather was very nice, the members of AZ Cornell came together for a small cookout at our house. We set up a grill and made delicious burgers, sausages, and grilled corn. It was a fun way for us to unwind after a full week of classes and a way for new people to come check out the house.
