Chapter Activity Reports

Sun, sand, and trash

Author: Santiago Acosta Gonzalez/Tuesday, March 8, 2016/Categories: New Member Development, Alumni Relations, Service to Community, Chapter Development, Fellowship

On February 13 our chapter raised and shined early and made our way to "playuela" in Cabo Rojo, PR. Playuela is also known as "playa sucia" which translates to dirty beach. This doesn't mean that the beach is actually dirty, its actually one of the most beautiful beaches in all of the island but sadly it isn't exempt from people littering. We got in there and cleaned up over 10+ big black trash bags worth of trash!
