On February 6th our council members embarked on a trip to Lealtad Estate in Lares, Puerto Rico, to participate in an activity for coffee agriculters from around the island. Our embers were given a tour of the estate, were taught about its history and were kept well fed all day, for which they were very grateful. Finally our President, Monica Toledo, was given the chance to discuss with the agriculture's about what the fraternity is, what are its purposes and talk about some of the things the chapter has recently acomplished. Such a good impression was made that some of the people in attendance decided to make donations in order to help out with the funding necessary for the NALC trip this year!
