Alpha Zeta Partners participated in the 2013 College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences "Back 2 School Bash" which is an annual event to welcome students back to the college. AZP had a booth at the event to teach new students in the college about the organization. Additionally, eight members of the chapter participated in a kickball tournament against other student organizations within the college. This event was beneficial to the chapter because members were able to talk to many students about the purpose and activities of the chapter. As a secondary benefit, this event served as a new membership development event because some of the new members were able to play kickball,work at the booth and interact with older members of the chapter. The event did not take much planning as it was organized by the college; the only planning involved was organizing a group of members to represent the chapter at both the stand and in the kickball game. Overall it was a very successful event because it gave the chapter exposure to a huge amount of people who attended the event.
